Today we are excited to share our recent achievements with you:

  • With this release, we introduce the new Tripadvisor Commission Campaign to you: create your Pay Per Stay campaign on Tripadvisor with Click.
A sweet little hint: Please inform your IM and DMM to enable the campaign access before creating the campaign.
  • We also made some changes to optimize the user experience with the Reporting and Account management module. Read on for details.

What‘s new

Reporting & Dashboard

  • New metrics have been added to the standard report: Average Bids & Average Bids %. The average bids/ average bids % refers to the bids of metasearch campaigns we push for each channel. Due to the different bidding units, Google % bids will be found under “Average Bids %”, and the rest of the channels bids are under “Average bids” metrics.

Bidding & Budget

Important:
Please note that only the partners under Derbysoft Tripadvisor account are eligible for an immediate start of a PPS campaign. All the partners that run their own Tripadvisor accounts are subject to validation by Tripadvisor.
Get in touch with your Digital Marketing Manager to guide you through the process.

Account management

  • Account-level Change History feature has been released, which can allow you to filter all the change history just in one step.

Improvements

Reporting & Dashboard

  • The “Placement Type” dimension has been updated to "Ad type" in the Standard Report, so you can easily distinguish the data between Metasearch Ads and PPA Ads.
  • There are two dimensions that have been added in TripAdvisor Guest Multiplier Report.
    • Guests Multiplier: Added a new column called “Guests Multiplier” to feedback the multiplier used for this lever on the given click in the report.

    • Guest: Updates the “Guest calculation": Repurposing the “Guests” column to indicate the Number of Guests as an aggregation level, rather than the aggregated average of a number of guests.

  • The table can extend down according to the rows rather than using the right scrollbar.

UpcomingUpcoming

  • The New Learning Budget feature is being tested by the Derbysoft Algo team now.  Look forward to the launch!
    Note:
Define a learning budget, as a % of the campaign budget, to be used when the campaign is generating insufficient bookings to meet its campaign ROAS goal.
