How to Create a PPA Campaign

Task
In this article, how to create a PPA campaign will be interpreted in detail.
Prerequisites
Request Access from the platform or get the access to PPA campaign by contacting directly to your Digital Marketing Manager or Implementation Manager.

Instructions
Step 1 Create Campaign
Click on Create Campaign in Campaign Management.
Step 2 Choose a Campaign Type
Choose Google PPA under Destination Ads.
Step 3 Setting
- Select Hotel/Market/Device
We recommend you to select 1~2 hotels per location(city), because there are just 1~2 PPA ads that can be shown in one search results page.
Input the other information
You can use Manual CPC, CPC %, Pay Per Booking, Pay Per Stay strategies.
PPB and PPS require you to send the click ID to DerbySoft. If you do not send the click ID, the performance data might be inaccurate.
PPS requires Google Conversion Pixel to be implemented on your Purchase Confirmation page.
After you created the campaign and want to make changes, we only allow you to switch the strategy between PPB and PPS.
- Value range of each type of strategy. The currency is the same as your Google account.
Notes: You can also change the Max CPC at Hotel level: ① We will assign the campaign level Max CPC as the default hotel level Max CPC. If you input hotel level Max CPC, we will use hotel level value instead of campaign level. ② If you want to remove the hotel level Max CPC, you can select the hotel and click Reset Max.CPC button.
Outcome
When you set up the campaign, you can check the performance of a PPA campaign in below ways:
- Campaign List
- Campaign Detail -> Hotels
- Campaign Detail -> Markets
- Placement -> Destination Ads - Placement
If you would like to check any change history, go to the Campaign Detail -> Change History page, you will see all kinds of changes of your PPA campaign.
