Introduction

The Performance Data Level toggle allows you to adjust the scope of the data used for performance reporting in the Multiplier Cards.

Depending on the size of the campaign, and how long it has been running, you may not have sufficient data generated by the campaign specifically to inform setting the multiplier bids.

How does it work?

To compensate for this, the platform provides 3 different levels of data scope:

  • All data: Performance Data will be pulled from the whole account, across all hotels and markets. Use this option when the campaign scope is very small, perhaps only a handful of placements, and there are very low volumes of data. Low relevance, but focus on getting a good volume of data to inform multipliers.

  • Placement (Default): Performance Data will be filtered to the Markets and Hotels selected within the campaign settings but from any campaign. A good balance between volumes of data, and the relevance of the performance metrics in adjusting multipliers. Particularly useful when setting up a new Campaign and you would like to set the initial bids manually.

  • Campaign: Performance Data will relate to this campaign specifically. Useful when the campaign is well established has been running for some time, with a good scope. Most limited view of data, but with the highest relevance to the campaign.

In general, we recommend switching between the different scopes to explore how the campaign's multiplier performance compares to general performance.
