Introduction to Bing Lodging Campaign Multiplier

Similar to other channels’ bid multipliers, Bing lodging campaign multipliers provide users the way to boost the bids by several  factors added to the base bids.

Users are able to leverage bid multipliers for both Bing DS campaigns (Meta campaign, hotel price ads)) and PPA (property promotion ads)campaigns.

How to use the Bing Lodging Campaign multipliers

Overview

Bing provides 6 multiplier categories with AI optimized and Campaign Manual optimization types with the availability for each category in below:

a.When switching optimization type from AI optimized to campaign manual, if no value is filled, by default it will inherit the historical AI set value.

b.Calculation logic between Click and Bing:
    Take 1 as the base bid
    Bing multiplier value=(Click multiplier value-1)*100%
    I.e.increase by 10%=(1.1-1)*100%=10%

Guide for Multipliers

1. Device
   • Supportable bucket values:Desktop,Mobile,Tablet
   • Value Range:0,[0.10,10.00]
     • 0 means opt out this device bucket.
   • For campaign value type, all the buckets should be filled with a value before clicking on the [Save] button.
2. Check in date
   • Supportable bucket values:
     • Start Date:YYYY-MM-DD( Earliest start date: D+1)
     • End Date:YYYY-MM-DD( No end date limitation)
   • Value Range:0,[0.10,10.00]
     • 0 means opt out this bucket.
   • Max 30 buckets are allowed to be added.
3. Day of week
   • Supportable bucket values:[Monday, Tuesday, …, Sunday]
   • Value Range:0,[0.10,10.00]
     • 0 means opt out this bucket.
4. Date Type
   • Supportable bucket values:[Default date, Selected date]
   • Value Range:[0.50,2.00]
5. Days to Arrival
   • Supportable bucket values:[0, 1, 2, 3-7, 8-14, 15-30, 31-49, 50+(50-330)]
   • Value Range:0,[0.10,10.00]
     • 0 means opt out this bucket.
6. Length of Stay
   • Supportable bucket values:[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8+(8-30)]
   • Value Range:0,[0.10,10.00]
     • 0 means opt out this bucket.
